The subject of the painter in his studio with a model ... was explored by Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso, among others. In the following conte crayon drawings of this "trope," beyond the elements of the human figures and the surrounding spaces and props, I was expressing the age-old fascination of the artist for his/her fellow human being.
